What is Cloud software?
Cloud software runs in a browser and is accessible from anywhere there is Internet service. Some vendors offer Remote Desktop (RDP), which is not Cloud, and requires complicated configuration settings and VPN for security. Cloud software runs on servers located in data centers and protects information using the secure HTTPS protocol, along with other encryption technology. When you access your bank account in your browser, you are using Cloud software.
Can I use RFID with RightClick?
Sure can! RightClick works well with different RFID vendors for printing and scanning coded tags.
Does RightClick print jewelry tags or parcel labels?
Yes, RightClick works with GoDex, Zebra, Dymo and Datamax printers and users are able to customize their jewelry tag printing.
What is CRM?
CRM stands for Customer Relations Management. In RightClick, the CRM window includes the history of communications with each customer, along with their transactions and photographs of the jewelry that they have purchased. Furthermore, in RightClick’s CRM, users are able to schedule events and create or track Opportunities.
How are backups handled in RightClick?
RightClick automatically performs backups several times a day (without requiring users to log off) and maintains multi-server redundancy (multiple encrypted copies at different data centers) to achieve maximum dependability.
Can I import data into RightClick?
Yes, RightClick includes numerous imports (i.e. jewelry, diamonds, customers, etc…) through its Interchange window, and each import can be customized by the user.
Can I integrate RightClick with an apps or website?
RightClick’s open architecture permits integration with third-party apps and websites using an API (Application Programming Interface). RightClick can also communicate with third-party apps via eConnect or a custom API can be created if necessary.
Can RightClick be customized?
Absolutely! RightClick is a complete software solution for the jewelry and diamond industry and each window or report can be customized to meet specific requirements.
Does RightClick lock my data?
No, RightClick allows users to export their data in numerous ways at any time. Users can create their own reports and exports, either in CSV or Excel format.
Are you connected to Microsoft?
No, and Microsoft does not sell jewelry software. Microsoft sells a generic accounting framework. Some vendors promote themselves as Microsoft, “We Are Microsoft!” These companies are really VARS (Value Added Resellers). They sell and customize Microsoft’s generic software by adding a few jewelry features. It is important to note that Microsoft software has an End-Of-Life date, at which point you may no longer receive service, support or worse, be required to re-purchase and re-customize your investment all over again.
Does RightClick work with Shopify?
Yes, you can integrate RightClick and Shopify (or Magento and WooCommerce) to receive new orders, new customers, payments and more. This is done either directly or through a gateway company such as Laravo and others.
What technology is used in RightClick?
RightClick is programmed in c# (c-sharp) using Microsoft SQL as the database.
Can I use RightClick on Mac?
For sure! RightClick works in a browser and can be used on any device.
Can I print shipping labels?
Yes, RightClick integrates with ParcelPro and ShipStation and can print invoices and shipping labels simultaneously.
Can RightClick do EDI with Signet and other majors?
Of course! In fact, RightClick pioneered the first EDI templates (810, 850 among others) in the 1990s.
Does RightClick get updated?
RightClick is updated with new features, improvements and bug fixes one or more times per year. RightClick updates are included in the monthly subscription. Updates do not overwrite any customized window or report.
